Chris climbs a mountain along a narrow track. He starts at seven the morning and reaches the top at seven in the evening. He follows the path going at varying rates of speed. The next morning he starts going down at the same time and along the same route and reaches the bottom again at the same time in the evening. Is there a spot along his path that the climber will occupy on both trips at precisely the same time of the day?
